• Plug in the Primary Velop Node: Attach the power adapter to the primary Velop node and connect them to the modem or gateway provided by your ISP using the Ethernet cable. Wait for the nodes to boot up.
• Download the Linksys App: Download the Linksys App from the App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.
• Create a Linksys Cloud Account: Open the Linksys App and create a new account or sign in with your existing Linksys cloud account.
• Add Velop Nodes to the App: The Linksys App will prompt you to add your Velop nodes to your account. Follow the instructions to do so.
• Create a Wi-Fi Name and Password: Once the Velop nodes are added to the app, the app will guide you to create a Wi-Fi name and password for your network.
• Place the Velop Nodes: The app will ask you to place the Velop nodes in your home.
• Follow the instructions to place the nodes in the recommended locations for optimal coverage.
• Configure the Velop Nodes: Once the Velop nodes are placed, the app will ask you to configure the nodes. Follow the instructions given in the app to configure the nodes and connect your devices to your new Wi-Fi network.
• Connect Your Device to the New Network: After the configuration is complete, test your new network by connecting to it with a device and browsing the internet.

• Connect your Velop node to a power source and your modem using an Ethernet cable.
• Wait for the light on the Velop node to turn purple. Your device is ready for setup once the purple light gets stable.
• Connect your computer, phone, or tablet to the Wi-Fi network named “Linksys Velop” that appears in your device’s Wi-Fi settings.
• Open the “http://velop.linksys.com” web portal.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account, set up your Wi-Fi network name and password, and customize your settings.
• When prompted, add additional Velop nodes to your network by following the same steps.

• Make Sure Your Modem is Working: Before getting rolling with the Linksys Velop MX2003 setup process, ensure that your modem is working and connected to the internet. If your modem is not working, your Velop nodes will not be able to connect to the internet.
• Reset Your Velop Node: If you’re having trouble connecting to your Velop node, try resetting it. You can do this by pressing and holding the reset button on the node for 10 seconds until the light turns red. Once the light turns purple, your node should be ready for setup again.
• Check Your WiFi Signal Strength: Make sure that your device is within range of the Velop node. If the signal strength is weak, try moving closer to the node or relocating it to a better location.
• Check Your Internet Connection: If you’re having trouble accessing the internet, check your internet connection. You can do this by connecting your device directly to the modem with an Ethernet cable to see if you can access the internet.
